Is program expiry used to keep your tracks clean? like maybe if the program gets captured, it wouldnt add much of any value for defense teams because it expires? am i understanding that correctly?

Last time I ran into obfuscated code I just slammed it into GPT, not only did it perfectly revert the obfuscation it also got the context right and gave meaningful object & method names.

That said it's a security measure that prevents lazy people from getting inspiration of your code, but won't stop someone if he really wants to know the underlying functionality.

Also if you push that other distro you kinda leak your token, wouldn't something like dotenv be much simplier?
