The Sharky urge to force Saka into every conversation

Anyone who has done their ACL before, know how difficult it is to come back from that. Especially if you’re an athlete. VVD is 6’4, 215 pounds, when you’re that big, coming back to your best and maintaining your athleticism is almost impossible. And yet this man came came back and went deep into all 4 competitions. The VVD slander is getting ridiculous at this point smh

'Brendan Fraser really deserved to get that Oscar'

Sharkey - 'But what about Saka? I think with his potential, if given the chance, he could have won it'

How is he saying we were set up in a way that Van Djik never gets ran at, we have one of the highest defensive lines in the league, he’s not been as good since his injury, but he’s still alot better than Gary Cahill ffs😂

VVD is not overrated. It’s crazy how everytime Liverpool have a bad year people say he is overrated.

Ngl Ricardo Carvalho is the most underrated CB in prem history bc before Porto, my man wasn't getting recognition like that, Jose gave him a chance, won Porto the Champions League and even performed better than John Terry in his best season, then Mourinho went Chelsea, and one of the first names he signed was Carvalho bc he had everything Terry lacked; intelligence, rational thinking and dat, then Chelsea wins 2 premier leagues in a row, and a few years later Mourinho went to Real Madrid and brought Carvalho with him, and they end up winning a La Liga title AND was world-class for a decade, I can't believe guys just forget that he exists...

18-19 Van Dijk was absolutely incredible. He was doing 2v1s vs Spurs and still attackers were scared of him. The 'Aura defending' was a real thing, because was also putting his body on the line, combined with the impeccable timing and IQ. But, since the ACL I feel as if he is much more passive and tries to delay the attacker rather than tackle which means hes able to be caught out more, see the CL final and Sancho's goal earlier in the szn. He's still world class, sure, but the name Van Dijk seems much less scary. For me atm he sits at the same table as someone like Ricardo Carvalho for the prem but things can still change

Salah's playmaking and chance creation is so underrated. Everyone always talks about his goals, but forget he's put up high assists numbers and won a playmaker award

Sharky is wrong "Salah has only started doing these things at 26". Also when Salah was 22 he had 20 goal contributions at a bang average fiorentina, after that loan spell came back to Chelsea. Jose made him cry, made him go on loan to roma again at 23. At 23 15 goals 11 assists. While tearing up players. Saka has been in a team built around him, for him to nurture his talent. He will be good, not Salah good. Salah was thrown in the deep end on loan with a bottom tier serie a team yet was top 5 in every stat in that league. Age don't matter, Salah barely had experience compared to saka at 21. Saka 5 seasons now at 21. Salah at 21 was in the process of his first full season.

Sharky actually had a good point about people remembering the 7-0

The idea that Van Dijk is no longer a strong defender post-injury is genuinely ridiculous. He lost pace, that cannot be denied, but after he recovered, he remained one of the best in the world. Are we forgetting Liverpool went unbeaten in the league from January to July last year???? Got to a champions league final???

As for this season, his poor form has been from both a lack of confidence and pure exhaustion; from the start of the 2021/2022 season to the World Cup, he had played the most minutes of ANY player at the World Cup (7, 597 mins, next highest was Joao Cancelo at 7, 347 mins). He had a shortened break before pre-season with Liverpool still in champions league and remained a permanent starter from there on out. He’s currently far from his best, or the best in the world, but it’s far from gone.

yeah fu is very funny but his takes are quite horror when it comes to liverpool

What kind of United fans are this. No chance that Salah is better than Ronaldo in the Prem. Ballon D’or can’t be understated. Ronaldo did it in style back then aswell

You can be salty and say Van Dijk fell off, but saying PRIME VVD wasn’t as good as Rio, Terry etc is blasphemy.

Van Dijk won UEFA’s (The best) in 2019, won PFA player of the season, and runner up for the ballon Dor (with a legitimate claim that he should of won). Have some shame..

What on earth is he talking about saying Van Dijk can't hold attackers up/ make the wrong decision? It's literally one of the things he's best at...
