Not having Anakin back in this or in some way being part of destroying Sidious in this film is insulting to the prophecy of the chosen one. The point of Star Wars is the tragedy of Darth Vader. Episode 1-6 support this vision. Episode 7, 8, and most likely 9 will be a complete disgrace to the lore I grew up with. It’s like Disney had no plan in the story arc for this trilogy. Amazing how bad they are going to miss on this trilogy. I hope I am wrong but the leaks aren’t looking good

I’ve got news for Disney and Kathleen “take a big dump on Star Wars” Kennedy.... NOBODY CARES ABOUT PO, Finn, and Rey, in comparison to Luke and Anakin. All those Anakin scenes would have been so epic!

Not Hayden’s fault, he just was not wroten well as Anakin. HOWEVER, He is truly incredible as Anakin and is who I imagine as Anakin in a live action roll. He looks intimidating, he looks in pain.

i personally loved Hayden as Anakin. its a shame how people hate him for playing the character. i love how he played as him and the way he brought the emotion to the set. i wish he comes back one last time to Star wars.

Imagine if George made these movies and there weren't these crap characters. Instead of focusing on new characters no one cares about, he continued with the original characters and we got to see Ford, Mark, and Carie all on together on screen again, and the movies were just about them

I also agree that it would have been really interesting to have Anakin's force ghost be almost the main character of this third film and have him continue to correct the mistakes he made as a young man. It would have been very redeeming for him to guide rey (a palpatine) to defeat palpatine. It would have been some poetic Justice imo.

All things considered, Hayden did a good job. I'm going to see this movie and I'm hoping for a good flick but I'm not very optimistic.

I put the weakness of Anakin's portrial on Lucas, the script, and the directors. Really, how well could you read those lines? I hate He did much better in the second movie he was in.
