1998 was the year of bald head. Goldberg, stone cold and zinedine zidane were the biggest stars in all of sports that year.

His intensity was impressive. So is the list of dudes he injured by not being a safe worker.

Goldberg: "Who's Next?"
Lord Steven Regal: "I'll have a go at it."

I loved Goldberg as a 90s kid watching WCW Nitro every week. But he really should have let DDP end the streak.
That would have been far more satisfying than how it actually happened with Kevin Nash, who didn't need it.

I never got why he was popular. The few times I watched WCW, it was Sting who always impressed me

He was never a wrestling guy, just a football outsider that came into the business who got over big and they hated that.

The be honest. I’d like to know what Bret Hart thinks of him.

I've watched the match between Goldberg and Regal; Regal deserved a medal for the sheer amount of effort that he put into that match to TRY and make Goldberg look like a quasi-decent wrestler. Regal has been quoted as saying "I can't hit meself" when asked by Bischoff as to what happened during the match.

Of course Goldberg complained about how the match went down, claiming that Regal "took liberties" with him in the ring. To that Regal replied that if he had taken liberties with Goldberg in the ring, then he would have ended up going to hospital after the match.

Goldberg is his own biggest mark and a whiny bitch who let his ego fuck up his career.

Every time I watch a Goldberg match I think: "Damn, we lost Bret Hart for this?"

Goldberg was a good dude. He was green and pushed way too early, he just did what they told him to do. Its not his fault they taught him nothing and pushed him to the main event immediately. Goldberg himself didn't do anything wrong.

Bill is hated by many of his peers because they saw a man with no type of wrestling/fighting background that basically became famous overnight

I understand their frustration, and to add to that, yes, he really didn’t have many moves in his arsenal and lacked in-ring talent

But Bill had the love and attention of fans with his jaw-dropping strength. He wasn’t no weakling. People woke up one day and saw everyone jump on the “Goldberg hate train” and ran with it

And it’s funny cuz rewind to 1998-2003 and you rarely heard him get booed, he always had massive pops and tons of people looked forward to his matches

All of this Goldberg hate is post-2010

Gotta thank the digital age and social media

😂😂😂😂😂

14:53 This was the moment that I lost the little respect I still had for him, calling Asuka "some japanese girl" like if she was nothing should be considered a sin in wrestling, brushing her off like that just because she had a better career than his's speaks volumes of how arrogant and egocentric Goldberg is

You forgot how he stupidly punched through a car window in a segment and put himself out of action for months or how he threw a temper tentrum when WCW briefly tried to book him as a heel.

I was there. 15 years old at the time. Couldn't stand him at all. Never understood why he was so popular
