Here we have Graham Blackledge showing you why you need a Yamaha SHS 500 Sonogenic Keytar.

The 'Yamaha Sonogenic SHS500 Keytar' is a great fun keyboard. It works from batteries or via the included power supply, has a built is speaker, outputs, inputs and much more! It is simple to use and easy to see how it is set up via the screen and allows you to play along with backtracks or play with friends. Designed for non-players and gigging performers this 'stand-up' keyboard is great. It has 30 quality sounds and a touch sensitive keyboard with features like octave shift, transpose, pitch bend and many more. You can use it as a controller keyboard via USB, or it also has a connector for 5 pin MIDI connection too. The key action is light and easy to play and its light weight so you can stand with your guitar friends and jam along if you want to. It even has a feature whereby you can play a backing track and it can scan the track and tell you the chord its playing and also stop you from playing notes not in the chord structure. This is a great feature that makes a non-player sound amazing straight away. I think this is an excellent value, fun keyboard.

Thank you very much for the amazing video! Please help me with your advise! Because of your all videos I only can believe you for my choice!

I want to buy the best one!
Rolan Lucina, Alesis Vortex 2 or Yamaha SHS-500RD?
Please advise me which one will be the best choice for me?

Why would they put the pitch wheels below the thin part?

Hello, are you able to add distortion to the electric guitar sound?

And in the beginning, did it one with that backing track to which you’re jamming? Or maybe you pre-recorded it to there and simply assigned that track to a button to press ?

So all I’d need is an 3.5mm aux lead from that to my iPhone and I could select sounds from the garage band app?

At 3:31 is it correcting a wrong note? You're playing with one finger but it sounds like a chord. Is that an effect? Thanks. This instrument looks lots of fun for a beginner and someone who's been playing keys for a while. We award my 8yo for practicing piano with $ and he's saving up for one of these. Great video for my research.

You didn't address the midi connection on the bottom. I'm trying to find out if i can midi to another synth.. I'm guessing its a 5 pin connection.. would you happen to know ?? Sometimes information is hard to find.. by the way. You sound awesome

Out of curiosity. Is it able to play with guitar pedals?
