Saving money is not that simple. There's so much more to the equation than just "stacking your coins". I noticed the money habits of the wealthiest people around me and I realized they were doing things I had never learned. Access to financial knowledge and stability is a privilege and many people, like myself, have to work harder for that knowledge often times by making money mistakes- especially when you don't come from money. I hope that you don't have to experience my mistakes and can take my word for it in this video lol. In this video I share several tips on money habits I wish someone had told me about. If you're new be sure to subscribe and comment a money habit that you'd like to try!

I must say you are an inspiration because I started up investing and trading as a scared investor who doesn’t want to lose money, glad to say I’m very profitable now and bought my first house through it

My parents we’re so shocked when I doubled my money in the stock market and then proceeded to call it luck 🤦🏾‍♀️😵‍💫

Recently, I got into the YouTube financial niche, and I’ve taken a deep dive into investing. Particularly, Fx, stocks and crypto as it interests me. I have tried multiple methods to build my portfolio in the past. So far I’m making progress the help of a fund manager. Back to the video, wonderful job there. I always look forward to more of your content.

I've been putting off watching this video because I'm someone that has always been broke, struggling to make ends meet and when I did have the money to, I struggled to save because I wanted to splurge. It felt like I had this pressure to get rid of the money when I had it because if I had money, it meant I was forgetting about a bill that needed paying and led to a lot of internal panic. I've taken the initiative, however small, to finally watch this and it gave me a lot of "a-ha" moments. I grew up in a family that had either just enough money, or was on benefits and struggling to make ends meet. We had fear-based mentalities that I learned early on. "Stocks are bad", "stocks are risky", "people who invest in stocks will lose everything", "rich people are just lucky" and "money is bad". Having a single parent working part time, it was often that she had to go hungry to put food on the table for my sibling and I. This year I'm committing to things that scare me, and money has always scared me. This year I am working on removing the fear, and to finally achieve the level of freedom I want in life.

I am 18 and recently moved out of my house at 17. I am barley living the actual adult life and it’s getting stressful because I am a horrible money spender. Your video was great. I have tried to be more mindful of where and when I spend my money and your mentality and opinions towards money helped a lot

Thanks for sharing awesome tips! I’m financially free and currently growing a solid retirement plan. It takes a positive and consistency to learn new things, unlearn the old habits ms Important to get a mentor/coach to lead you all the way. It’s great to start young too!

A good credit card trick - after making your budget, put those reoccuring bills (besides rent and car notes!) On your credit card. You are already going to pay them, mind as well get the point for them. (AMEX blue cash card gives you 3% cash back on all grocery stores) You wont have a balance and wont be charged interest because you'll already have the money budgeted for it. 🙂

I liked, shared, and subscribed. It was that good 🙌🏽. As someone who is trying hard to break the generational curse/pattern of poverty and poor money management this was super detailed and helpful. Definitely gonna look into that financial advisor, thanks so much!
