we can be so happy to have devs like them, it is so rare

I really like these Devs for a few reasons.
They listen to the players but they also compare what the players are saying with their own experience of the game and change things accordingly. I feel like so many different game devs don't even play their own game let alone listen to the players at all. Im stoked for the next patch and for the future of this game.

I have to say, I love the amount of transparency here. I never once felt like they are trying to dodge a question. I love this game and love it even more knowing who created the game!

I don't think you guys understand how thankful we (the community) appreciates the questions you asked and how you didn't butter them up with easy questions. Thank you.

Played every class in PoE2, Warrior I have spent the most time on.

I think they hit it on the head with Early late/Late game content being subpar to other classes. However, the comment on Campaign play with Warrior being at a good spot may be true, but it is exponentially more difficult than any of the other classes. Hope to see some tuning on this at some point, in regards to making the content more difficult for other classes during this time.

Going Ranger or Merc through the campaign is a night and day experience compared to Warrior. With that, most people will think "Well, if this is so difficult early on, my character will definitely be strong once I get leveled." which ends up being "Oh shit, I worked harder than everyone else and my class still falls short late game. Welp, that was pretty dumb to play this class".

There is one change I’d like to see. We get tons of uncut skill gems but hardly any jewelers orbs during the campaign. I’d like to see some quest rewards grant you jewelers orbs and maybe even one greater jewelers orb (make it character bound if you need to) just before mapping.

I definitely appreciate their honesty.

I think number of charm slots should be given via a boss on a campaign map while leveling in the campaign (like spirit/bonus skill points/some resistances). The skill tree should allow you to sacrifice these for buffs to other things. Then increase what charms can do, like ones that 'if X then Y' to give other charms/potions charges or alters their effect. Maybe add in rare or unique charms as well (maybe ones that eat additional slots).

The biggest problem with bodyblocking is that every body is as solid as a wall. It really should have push mechanics based on character size/weight and speed values to feel like it makes any sense instead of ripping you out of any immersion you might get when a tiny ant blocks your way the same way a solid wall does or a player's shield charge gets interrupted by running into his small, lightweight robe wielding ally.

That is exactly my main issue as a fairly unexperienced player. I feel like I need T15 loot to be able to progress T10 maps. If not for trading I would probably still be stuck at T1-2

Thanks to the devs for being open to take on an interview like this and answer tough questions the fans really want to know. I can imagine it's a little stressful, but you handled it like champions and your honesty comes through in the interview. Which we all appreciate, even if you answer wasn't what we wanted, we still appreciate you putting it out there.

I would like to appreciate Johnathan's and Mark's time doing this conversation. This was a fantastic example of meaningful community engagement and Ghazzy and you did a great job of doing this interview. It fills me great confidence that PoE2 is in good hands and we'll have a great game.

Man Darth, I think it's so cool to see how you blew up when joining the POE scene to the point that you are now sitting with the dev's cracking jokes.. Good on you man, the success is awesome to watch!
