Hackman brought a natural authority to every role -- he just filled the screen. Thank you for the work, and rest in peace.

When Costner stood up as Hackman walked around the don't know if that was planned or practiced, but the way Hackman waved down and said "sit down" calmly. Its subtle, but masterpiece "training your dog" behavior. Hackman = Genius

"In the absence of a demurral, I'll assume all your responses are in the affirmative". For some reason, I just love the phrasing of this line.

This was a very good film, it kept you guessing right to the end and the recent sad loss of Gene Hackman all 3 leading men giving outstanding roles in this superior thriller, very much a under rated movie there all trying fiigure out a double agent and it all comes out at the very end

Movie so tragic and suspenseful, with great twist. Gene plays a powerful yet weak man very well. RIP ❤

Dialog yes, fine, great. . The etiquete protocols and the body language are just as they should in these settings.
