Actually, if 69 of the 70 are dead, then technically you only have to guess the information of one person: yourself. Thus, Candice is freed. Its a rather macabre solution, sure. But it is a sacrifice they are willing to make. Because they are all perfect logicians.

The reason that all of them remembered they had a suicide pill in their back pocket is because they constantly have they urge to die, so they already searched for a way to suicide since they woke up, and they found the pill and suicided. How lovely of TED to think of these elaborate and well-thought-out riddles!

At 0:25, the abandoned warehouse clearly has smoke coming from it, wich means it's not abandoned, or it's on fire, either way the correct thing to do is to call the firemen and surround the building with the other 69 (hopefully armed) investigators till candice's captors come out

Sometimes this actually feels like what their riddles are though. Like the one with the aliens that isn't a riddle, but a logic puzzle. Or the ones where they're just like " at first it seems impossible, but once you remember the statistical probability of x thing happening, it becomes so easy"
