Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification (CRCC)
CRCC administers this nationally accredited certification program to ensure professionals engaged in rehabilitation counseling meet acceptable, national standards of quality and practice. Certified Rehabilitation counselors (CRCs) are the only professional counselors educated and trained at the graduate-level who possess the specialized knowledge, skills and attitudes to work collaboratively with individuals with disabilities. Through a comprehensive unique counseling process, rehabilitation counselors help individuals with disabilities achieve their personal, social, psychological, career, and independent living goals. Rehabilitation counselors are the bridge between the individual and self-sufficiency, helping their clients live fully integrated lives.
Registration Information
Prior to scheduling a test date, you must first complete your application and payment through CRCC. Upon approval of your application, you will receive your Authorization to Test (ATT) letter with scheduling instructions from CRCC.

Get certified from your home or office
Take your CRCC exam conveniently from home through OnVUE online proctoring. A live proctor will monitor you through the webcam on your workstation to provide a secure exam experience.

Watch the short video on the CRCC online proctoring page to see how convenient it is to test from home or work. Be sure to run the system test before you sign in to register for an online proctored exam. Good luck!

Scheduling at a Pearson VUE Center Location
Once you receive your ATT letter from CRCC, it is your responsibility to make an appointment to take the exam during the specified testing window. Exam appointments may be scheduled up to 48 hours in advance. Space at testing locations is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The exam/appointment testing time limit noted on Pearson VUE web pages reflects the total appointment time, including an NDA, exam time, and survey.

After you schedule your exam, Pearson VUE will send you a confirmation e-mail listing your exam date, your exam time, the address and phone number of the test center, and directions to the test center.

To schedule your exam, you will be required to create a Pearson VUE web account. When creating your account and scheduling your exam, you will need your CRCC candidate ID number. This number will be on your ATT letter and instructions letter.

Warning – Scheduling your exam a few days before or the day of the exam will not guarantee you a seat. CRCC strongly recommends you schedule your exam when you receive your authorization to test (ATT) letter.
