When I sneeze and I am in public I literally take cover, I turn around quickly and cover my face with my arms but I never hold it in.

I once stopped myself from sneezing, it was the most painful thing! I felt the air going trough my ears! There was no rupture, but gosh.. Never again.

Tip: It is best to cough once and feel rude than attempt to hold in your cough and end up sounding like you are I speak from personal experience.
