I got this infection in my foot in February, it was so painful. Doctors said they may have to cut my foot if infection reached bones, but I was lucky that they were able to save my foot and now I am able to walk again

I got this kind of infection at the same location on my hand after being wounded from a dog's bite which did not heal on time and later on got worse due to savlon burning. Fortunately got admitted at the hospital at the right time ( though waited for 7 days to get it healed on its own, obviously i should not have waited ) and got the right treatment before infection reached my bloodstream. Doctor continuously asked me whether I'm feeling any pain in that infected area and have any fever but fortunately i was normal but due to severe infection, infection started smelling really bad and continuously pus was oozing out of it along with burning sensation and it spread to whole of my hand . Doctors put me on very strong antibiotics continuously for 48 hours or so and lot of other medications ( infection was under control by this time already ) and then it took another 1 month for full recovery to see new skin at that area . I was really scared on the day of admission to the hospital but thanks to all the doctors.♥️
