Vigil held during 'Nurses Week' to honor nurses that died from coronavirus

A nationwide remembrance was held Wednesday for nurses who died from coronavirus during the pandemic. The events were held as a part of Nurses Week and organized by National Nurses United, the largest nurses’ union in the country.

This time last year nurses were fighting for our lives and their own as we all battled COVID-19. Hundreds of nurses lost their lives after contracting the virus and this week fellow nurses are honoring their lives and their dedication.
