Coco Tea and Leroy Smart, two very popular reggae dancehall stars since the 80s, are seen performing on two different shows held, respectively, in Westmoreland and St. Elizabeth. Many of the prolific stage shows held in the 80s were not lit for video recording, and in some instances, it is my limited camera lights, apart from the stage spotlight, that provides lighting. The show with Coco Tea is one such case but his performance still sweet.

I LOVE THE DON LEROY SMART. I HAD SEEN HIM AT THE APOLLO IN THE EIGTHIES. BUT IN EARLY 2000 I GOT A PHONE CALL FROM MY SON TEC REC WHO A MUSICIAN WITH A SMALL STUDIO THAT HE HAD LEROY THERE WITH HIM AND WE SPOKE FOR A LENGTHY TIME ABOUT REGGAE MUSIC MY PASSION. WHEN YOU ARE THERE AT THE BIRTH OF REGGAE MUSIC AND TO SEE WHERE IT HAVE GONE AGAINST ALL NEGATIVITY IT GOT IT THE BEGENNING.
