A few months ago I was drawn to these talented young artists because they obviously love the music I grew up with and they are honest musicians, the real deal. Listening to their original compositions sealed it. I now have their two earlier albums and I'm looking forward to getting this one. It must be true, nerds make the best musicians (LOL), or maybe there's just something in the water up there in Minnesota! Whatever, this is good music, pure and deep.

Both the music and lyrics of this album are really beautiful. The quiet mastery of emotion in both Reina's voice and Toni's guitar are awesome to hear. Per Virginia Woolf, "Every secret of a writers soul, every experience of her life, every quality of her mind is written large in her works."

The rest of the band is pretty great too. Will keep an eye out for when you all come back to Colorado.
