I've been overnight charging my phone almost everyday for 5 years, battery is still fantastic. It's not an apple product so maybe it's an issue with apple devices not android.

iPhone added a feature on the 15 that actually slows down the charging speed to where it’ll reach 100% around the time you wake up

Wait it's the norm to do that? I have never charged my phone overnight. I charge it to full before bed then when I drive into work and get it to go back to 100% from what it lost overnight.
