The airport is a disgrace. It is an embarrassment for the county. Traveling through MIA on a regular basis, 40 or so weeks out of the year, I can tell you the airport has taken a drastic downturn in the past 3 years.

Having a press conference stating that the city only cares about revenue coming from international passengers and not the literal citizens who are the real economic engine that keeps the city running is so dystopian that it’s hard not to contemplate ending my own life working for this state.

Funding and investing in the city’s deprived public transportation is somehow less important than the economic engine that is Miami International airport.
