Don’t Start A Vending Machine Business In 2023! To start a vending business, you will want to listen to my mistakes. Along with some tips to avoid the tough stuff that can come with operating a vending machine business. Vending machine business operators make incredible margins and can have flexible work hours, but it is not all sunshine and rainbows. These machines come with many costs and other maintenance that must be kept. To continue to operate your vending business, don't make these mistakes.

I am excited to share my journey in the vending machine business and one of my new locations at an apartment complex, where I placed a combination vending machine! I did not expect it to do this well, which is one of the keys to vending. Never estimate what a location can or cannot make in a month; it depends, and you would be surprised. Sometimes it's more about how many hours someone sees your machine vs how much foot traffic a location receives.

People who say vending is not good money just don’t have good locations or know what their doing. Location is Key !

I'm considering getting into this as a secondary source of income. I'm working as an artist, which gives me a very easy schedule, but little income. I got on YouTube to look for words of encouragement, and I almost skipped this one (for now) because the title made me think I would feel discouraged. I didn't get that at all. This was a great video, focused on realism as opposed to fat stacks of cash. It reminded me that I won't get rich because I bought one vending machine, but it did so without telling me I'm stupid for considering the idea. Thank you for your insight.

On point calling out most of the other "channels". You are giving sound advice. Subscribed, following, and liked. Keep up the good work.

Great video Dominick. My family was in the vending business when I was young with 90 locations, and sold the business when I was a teenager. I've been thinking about starting one myself while I have a dayjob, because I know the machines pretty well (looked up how to add the card processor recently) but my biggest struggle is being able to do the sales development.

I know what my family looked for in a location, I just need to figure out how to find the right person to talk to. Probably just need to take a day to get out there and do a trial by fire day.

People dont account for expenses and commission🤦🏽‍♂️.. you have to have more than 1 or 2 or 3 to see good bread

I work for the biggest vending company in the uk.
They have machines at over 1000 locations in Englands train stations.

The company is worth 2 million. The company went from 300k to 2 million when Covid happens. Very odd I know.

But they do profit. What they won’t tell you is, you have to big capital to begin and if you’re Serious, you will have to get contracts with stations and airports for a real business.

Most other places are a self employed small business that will tick you over.

So this does not sound like an job for a teacher friend of mine who is looking for a something to do in his retirement at age 60+. He will have to work harder than he ever did as a teacher. BTW he thinks he will strike it rich with the cotton candy and popcorn vending machine . We live in the NJ area. I must show him your videos before he starts . Thanks so much for your honest take on the vending industry

I am a freelance tutor and I have my weekday mornings free. Been thinking that starting a small business would help me understand how to run a business, and also not take too much risk / since most businesses have high initial capital costs ..

The most valuable thing you could tell us is specific product to buy. Specifically systems that will tell us when a certain snack is empty and needs to be refilled...

I was thinking about starting a vending business, but after watching this I'll be looking for something else to spend my time on to make money with. Thanks!

Thanks for the tips. Just starting out and I’m in the process of locating at the moment. Very brutal but hoping for that first yes and I won’t give up.

When I hear people say vending is not good or even if it’s clickbait but I feel they are not planing it properly.

This business is a hassle I wouldn't recommend it I tried it and people are always changing their minds asking you to remove the machine from their business then you have hustle to get another one. I rather buy a laundromat and place my machine there than buy more laundromats and place all my machines there.

I work in the oilfield currently a 2 week on 2 week off schedule. I’ve been considering doing this for supplemental income. In your opinion would this be something I could work around that?

Great video but the title is very misleading. I thought it was going to be a video about "why you should not start a vending business in 2023" 🤷
