Great version of one of the greatest solos ever, with a great story behind it. Karen called Tony and it took some effort to convince him it was really her! Tony came to the studio, listened to the tune, and came up with a "Carpenters-sounding" soft rock solo. Richard said, "no, no, really LET IT RIP". Tony plugged in his fuzz box, and the rest is history!

that is getting so close to this amazing solo, and brilliant effort to achieve this. some triers produce the notes but not the flow, and some produce the notes and the flow, but not the fire. the fire is the perfection, and it can just be a slight difference of interval, emphasis and attack.
