Peacocks are not the most common sight around Oklahoma City, OK, so when Jennifer opened the Live View on her family’s Ring Floodlight Cam, she was shocked to not only see the majestic bird in their yard, but witness it do what many don’t even think peacocks can do - fly!

“My parents have lived in a rural area so have seen lots of wildlife over the years. But seeing a peacock was a new one!” Jennifer says.

Man! peacocks can take a very good flight and it's kinda funny for me to see people getting amazed by just watching it only jump but if you wanna see peacocks flight you are always welcome to India We often see peacocks flying around here 😂

When I was studying postgrad, my university was near a mountainous range. For some reason, the university had a lot of peacocks - probably about 50- strutting around the campus like they owned it. I absolutely love peacocks, it was a beautiful sight to watch them walk around, especially near the mountains where there were no buildings and there was open fields and stuff.

The first time I saw a peacock fly, I was visibly shocked. I didn't know they could do that. I spent that night researching on why they fly, and then I learnt a lot more about them. Peacocks are shy birds too, they never come near a human being that easily. Thank you for bringing those nice memories back to me 😁

My grandparents used to have peacocks around their ranch house. I loved looking at them, but didn't much care for their vocalizations. 🙋🏼
