Johnny Cash's hair should be in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

"The fact that Johnny Cash knew who Neil Young was validated me. It didn't make me weird because I listened to them both." - Steve Earle

For me personally, Neil young will always stand in a class of his own. Few songwriters come close to matching him. Bob Dylan, John Prine, Joni Mitchell, Leonard Cohen Sixto Rodriguez, Tom Waits, Willie Nelson and Kris Kristofferson are all favorites but Neil does something extra for me.

Johnny Cash is unreal. Neil is as real as it gets.

Anybody that knows me, knows very well how much I love Neil Young, I have had every album he put out. I used to tune my guitar too, the Needle and the damage done! I personally have never used needles! But my God I have seen the damage done!😢 Neil young is a musical hero! He is also a freaking genius! I have nothing but pure respect for, Mr Neil Young! I've been listening to, Mr Neil Young, almost my entire life!R.I.P, Mr Johnny Cash you're up there with June now!❤️🙏❤️🎶🌍✌️ Thank you! Mr Neil Young, for still being in my life. It is November 20th 2024!❤❤❤ And may God keep on blessing you, so that God can bless us through your gifts of art!😊

We stumbled up from Tootsie's, stood on each other's shoulders, slipped in a window and sat in the back. I was a fan, knew the songs, but still had no idea what was coming. With an acoustic guitar, a piano and a few simple chords, he moved the world. The Ryman was dead quiet until the last note.

Saw Neil at the Chicago Auditorium, solo tour, Jan 1971--he mentioned in that concert he was going to be appearing on the Johnny Cash show--we watched and waited and never saw him on it. So dissapointing how we must have missed it. What a show he did that night--was like playing Harvest album before it was released the following year. Closed it with a Dobro Guitar and a rousing version of "See the Girl Dance"...

Sheer brilliance and yet so young. Love his stories.

Neil's tribute to Danny Whitten. So morose because he felt a responsibility about Whitten's OD.

Like Dylan, his beautiful poetic stories make you take a deep breath and simply ....pause.

The Man in Black giving lessons and tipping his generous hat to Uncle Neil is a feat for the ears and a real inspiration.

Er hat mich mein ganzes Leben begleitet und mich dazu gebracht, das meine Finger bluteten als ich Gitarre spielen lernte. Er wird immer in mir sein...

What a great combo of songs, Neils mellow period, to think in 2 years he was doing the Tonights the Night tour, what a musical talent, Mr. Young.
