Leyland Trade Acrylic Primer Undercoat can be used on any interior or exterior bare surface including timber, MDF, masonry or even plaster.
It's a general purpose water based primer and undercoat which is fast drying, meaning you can do 2-3 coats within a day!

I've had great results on mdf with this, I'd not use any other . Great for sealing . I did 3 coats of leyland primer undercoat with sanding in between and it gave me a really good smooth finish ready for my top coat

As a painter of 37yrs i have always used matt emulsion as a base coat for plaster & wood especially as i already have the paint for ceilings & walls etc, & mist coating, on wood it will just do the job of roughing up the surface, readying for sanding, matt is the most porous paint out there so it will absorb any paint on top & it will stick

Can this be used on old oil gloss sanded down before putting 2 coats of eggshell water based on skirt boards and door?
