I purchased a cordless Stihl version 36 volt and it’s brilliant. My goal was to go totally cordless with their range, then the lawn mower range was too limited for me and no roller for lawn stripes. So now I have multiple products all from different manufacturers and a box full of batteries and charges. My intentions were honest ! Great vid thanks. Regards Mike

Just picked one of these up, great for domestic use. Thanks for the review!

I bought a Parkside/Lidl hedge trimmer two years ago, it has been possibly the best garden tool I have bought. I spray grease on the blades after each use. This Husky body looks very similar design to the Parkside.

Hi Andy, Great review on Husqvarna hedge trimmer, they do make good quality tools well know for the petrol powered garden tools. Husqvarna are known for the motorbikes and trial bikes. As always a great honest review, Take care👍

I picked up a body-only DeWalt version as I was already on the yellow battery platform - looks very similar to your Husqvarna one there and it really handy at certain times of year!

I've had an 18v Makita for some time and it's brilliant, only as I'm in the Makita battery system.

You sure earned your money there, Mac.

Thanks for the review!
No battery charge indication while in use is maybe because the voltage dips when power is drawn from the battery so rather than having the indication jump around they just turn it off. Other/adjacent reason might be to keep the electrical circuit simple. :)

Fair play, husqvarna is a top brand, it looks a good trimmer, the tip protector is a new addition, nice over view/ review
👍

Oh that branch sweeper thing on top should be quite handy for the hedges.

I agree a wide opening is good, but in all honesty I prefer a narrow one😂😉

Thanks Andy, that looks like a handy bit of kit, will be interested to hear a longer term review in the spring, great that it's on the Power for all platform too !

Why is this not on your garden channel ?

Hi again Andy. I’ve gone over almost exclusively to cordless (DeWalt) kit and find it convenient and powerful, with the exception of 2ah batteries whose working life is woeful. Just as well I’ve got two of them. I mainly use them on my angle drill because they are light 🌞😂

Timely! Actually in the market for a new hedge trimmer. Would have been nice to see some actual hedges being cut and some idea of battery life would be most useful - I have a lot of hedge to get through. Thanks.

While you had to try it out on something, lopping shears would have been best for that hawthorn? tree. The hedge trimmer best for a dense mesh of thin twigged hedge plants

I think a brushless motor might have been better for that tool. Thanks for sharing.
