I bought my diesel new in 2019. Some good things about it and some bad things.

The bad:
1 - Mower gearbox started leaking almost immediately. Since the dealer is a 3 hour drive away and the shop requires an appt I got a seal kit and repaired it. Still leaks a bit but nowhere near as bad as before.
2 - Hard starting when cold; actually really hard starting period, even with the glow plugs on for 20 seconds.
3 - The mower hydraulic deck adjustment lever is in a poor spot. If you cut tight around a bush a branch can pull the lever and lift the mower deck and you won't know it. The mower deck cutting height adjustment is pretty hokey too. If I was to design it I would have the deck height adjusted with the hydraulic raising/lowering lever that can be locked into position desired. Not two different levers/knobs.
4 - The mower deck anti scalp wheels are locked into a straight ahead position and tear out the lawn on tight turns: They should swivel.
5 - Really slow in reverse, especially turning
6 - Noisy - hearing protection required
7 - Maintenance intensive - Lots of maintenance and often. Hopefully this keeps it running a long time.
8 - All the safety nannies that are on modern consumer machines. Hit a bump and if the seat rises it kills the engine among many other annoyances.
9 - Slippery rubber floor deck mat. Since the tractor travels fast, going down a steep hill your left foot can slip out if you hit a bump. Needs a dead pedal for your left foot to push against on steeper declines. Also debris gets under the rubber mat which will cause moisture retention and rusting.
10 - The mulching kit deck insert is plastic. I don't know how long it will hold up.

The good:
1 - Really good on fuel
2 - Fast speed going forward
3 - Doesn't slow down on tight corners
4 - 54" deck cuts a wide swath
5 - Tight turning radius - not a zero turn but not too bad either
6 - heavy duty mower blades - thick and strong, will last a long time
7 - Strong engine - you only need to slow the travel speed when the lawn is overly long
8 - power steering - you can palm steer the steering wheel easily.

I have the same tractor and love this machine. It is fantastic at everything. Have the plow blade for removing snow, works very well. Have the bagger with blower, but I don't use it or have a need for it (anyone interested). This tractor climbs very steep hills, pulls very heavy weight. Built my own lift in the back, small crane in the front, all with linear actuators. Cuts grass very well. Use with a box grader, moved gravel, etc. Did I mention how much I love this tractor. If something happened to it, I would have to buy another one.

How long have you had the tractor for? Do you like it?

Nice machine. I bought the TG1860 in 2000 and with 1, 000 hours on it I'm thinking of upgrading to this model. Do you have the 54" deck, and with the grass chute rotated up what is the width? I have 63" to play with on my trailer, so that's an essential specification. The TG1860 is basically as wide as the 54" deck, so I assume yours is close to the same.
