There are those of us who have been "through" Vatican ll and we learned our faith incrementally. We learned in the process NEVER to take our blessed Lord's body in our hand. (Not to mention that I was an EM) I am now 75, go to a NO Mass every day, want only to please Him, and pray daily for the salvation of my soul.

Maria Simma used to have souls visit her from purgatory asking for Holy Mass, and the souls revealed many insights what happened in the church in her book, “Get us Out of Here” One thing that stuck with me was this topic “ Holy Communion in the hand” They said, that the infiltrators planned that “ If we allowed communion in the hand and take the communion rails out, we will have descent in the Church ! “ 😢

But he still allowed it. And this is why we are in the state we are in…. Souls going astray. I’m sure he was a modernist.

There is a photo of Pope Benedict XVI in one of the Fatima Crusaders, having a kneeler placed with his giving Communion on the tongue, and I think there was statement that he would only be giving Communion on the tongue. Can you find that issue and post that? Thank you!

That’s good to know, but that doesn’t mean that he should’ve been canonized as a saint.

Understand we are in a dilemma of whether to receive our Lord on a tongue or by hand. Both are acceptable as long as we receive Him with full reverence and preparation beforehand in a state of grace with a pure heart. Jesus said what makes a man defiled come from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, thefts, covetousness, deceit etc. (Mark 7:21-23)

Was there mention from mystics or any writings that you are aware on how the early church dealt with particles from the Sacred Host on the men's hands and the women's cloth? I am totally against Communion in the hand. The Communion lines are way too long, and confession lines too short!

I wonder how many people know that people received the Eucharist in the hand for the first several hundred years?
