I got attack by a black tiger/leopard and a yellow tiger at at the same time. I dodged until they fought each other. One killed the other and the winner ran away lol

I was fighting with spiked tiger for 3 generations. I love the fact that sticks stay in animals and you can see this if this same animal will come back ♡

You forgot you can give commands to your whole group. I've made piles for spears, pointy rocks, grinders. You can tell to apply, eat, attack or put the items back at the piles. Only drinking, they can do with spears for some reasons, while you cannot.

Yeah I learned all this the hard way. I built a wooden barricade at the second oasis spot where the entrances are and it kept all the tigers out, but the process of building it was a hassle lol they kept attacking while I was trying to build and had many fights with it 😂😂 in the end I did build it up though. But I definitely recommend the wooden barricades you can build

I think the yellow tiger attacked my bf's clan while he was making those branch walls but he scared it off with the whole clan. Later, it spawned in the middle of their water source and killed a female and two babies. He was so frustrated he just moved the whole clan to the old spot 😂😂 i felt so bad for him, he had just had those babies too ✋️😭 we're still new at the game so I'll tell him about how the tigers keep popping up until killed. Thank you!

The tigers are very annoying, and they end up killing a lot of my clan so I feel like I have to start over again....

Finally killed my first tiger over at waterfall cascade in the jungle area. It took (I kid you not) FOUR pointed sticks and 3 in-game days of time.

Personally I went the route of keeping my clan armed at all times, I just got into the habit of mimic switch to make clan eat and drink, mimic switch to set clan back to be fight ready. It's got to the point now where I very often see my clan members stab the tiger for me and several times they've even got the kill which is gratifying. I did not know you could kill them with a chopper so that's good to know, especially as the chopper has reuse instead of one-use like a stick. I got fed up constantly making sharpened sticks so I've been killing them with just branches and stripped sticks. I'll be using that chopper more from now on. I mean honestly it's got to the point where I never fail an attack so it bothers me less when it happens now.

Oh and make sure you inspect ur fruit before eating. Never eat more than 2 berries before inspecting. Food illness sucks if it gets severe and it takes a long time to cure if u can't find mushrooms. U don't want to be poisoned and then to break a bone or get slashed, it'll make exploring very hard.

The non carnivore status is not that bad.

If you use Sharpened Sticks, Tigers never require more than 3 hits.

The black tiger also attacks you. I find it depends more on where you are location wise as to which of the three you'll come across. The standard one seems to be in any location for the most part.

Evolved...and and tiger got inside my base ...didnt know that could happen even went through the high current just to snap all my people into pieces.

I've spent 80% of my time in the trees outside my settlement because of pure fear
The other animals aren't so bad mostly since I'm in the jungle area and tigers are the main threat

Most of the videos pre-console release seem to have the issue of predators spawning in the settlement. It seems like this may have been a bug that was fixed because as soon as I make a spot into a settlement, no predators spawn at all
