Your greatest enemy enters the stage: "hello this is the lockpicking lawyer"

If you put one more level in Warlock, you could go Pact of the Blade and not have to worry about STR at all, letting you get scale your weapons off of CHA.

My dragonborn dark urge padlock was an unforgettable first playthrough, he was a noble warrior fighting against the monsters of his past and it was amazing.

"How to make a PadLock. First, be a Fighter."
Makes sense.

*has a build for a warlock paladin *starts with two levels of fighter

I'd remove the fighter levels entirely. The benefits you're gaining are miniscule. Pact of the Blade for Charisma modifier on attack and damage rolls, then dump the rest into Paladin

By the time you finish this build, you will finish 80% of the game.

The better version of this build imo is as follows.

Start out as a fiend warlock. For stats, start with

Str: 8, Dex: 14, Con: 16, Int: 8, Wis: 10, Cha: 17

For skill proficiencies, make sure to take persuasion and intimidation and to not take deception and performance as we will be picking up the actor feat. In addition to being broken on the battlefield, this build will handle all your dialogue needs as well.

At endgame, you’re going to have 7 levels in Paladin and 5 levels in Warlock.

Take 3 levels of warlock right away in order to get pact of the blade which makes it so your weapon attacks with your pact weapon use Charisma. Along the way, make sure to get the devil’s sight and one with shadows invocations. Make sure you have the spells hex and darkness at the minimum.

Take 2 levels of Paladin. For subclass, take oath of vengeance.

Take your next 2 levels in warlock. Along the way you’ll pick up the actor feat and the extra attack feature from pact of the blade.

The rest of your levels will be in Paladin.

The main break points for this builds power are as follows.

Level 3: pact of the blade let you use charisma for you weapon attacks. This makes charisma your primary stat for basically everything for the rest of the game.

Level 5: you now get divine smite. Personally, I’d recommend the great weapon fighting style, but if you’d rather use one handed weapons then defense is also fine.

Level 6: the actor feat gives you an 18 in charisma with expertise in deception and performance.

Level 7: you now get extra attack and you’re a Paladin who gets 2 level 3 spell slots per short rest meaning you can essentially divine smite every battle even with limited long rests.

Level 8: you get a channel oath that lets you get advantage on your attacks against a particular enemy which is super good.

Level 9: taking an ability score improvement gives you 20 charisma, which is as high as it can go except when you get birthright for a 22 in cha.

Level 10: you make 3 attacks per turn

Level 11: your entire team gets plus 6 to all saving throws in addition to their other bonuses. Aura of protection is one of the best support abilities in the game.

I would improve it by missing out fighter entirely. It slows down progression and doesn’t add much I would then start off with warlock until level 7 which stats of 8/14/16/10/16 (dex is for medium armour and a better initiative)I would recommend taking all feats to bump charisma (cha), in which you respec to 6 paladin for extra attack and aura of protection and 1 warlock from there go warlock levels until 5 taking pact of the blade for 3 attacks per turn max cha 20 ac and a great ranged option, eldrich blast, the last level is whatever you want when I played this I went with warlock 6 for the extra invocation. For subclasses I’d recommend fiend for the temp hp on a kill and either oathbreaker or vengeance but if you go pathbreaker go to level 7 paladin for aura of hate. With aura of protection and a +3 con you have a +9 concentration save and other magic items can buff that and wisdom saves are more important later on which is why I’m confident in wisdom proficiency.

You lost me at “you’ll get extra attack at lvl9”

There are a few changes id make.
1 fighter (con saves) > 2 paladin (break oath and smite) > 5 warlock (blade pact attack) > 1 fighter(action surge)> 3 paladin (extra attack)
Final levels would be 5warlock/5paladin/2fighter.
Sorcerer also gets constitution proficiency, as well as plenty of other cantrips, shield spell and jump spell, and tempest flight if you leave bonus action open. You can also eat up your high level warlock slots to convert into level 1 slots to do more smites over a long battle instead of having 2 high level smites, then short rest to get the big slots back.

I do a much more simple build with a more convoluted start
Begin with paladin but with relatively low Strength and as much Charisma as possible, any oath will do
Afterwards put 3 levels into Warlock for Pact of the Blade
Put your second level into Paladin for smites
2 more levels into warlock for the Pact version of Extra Attack
At 8th level, respec to set yourself at Paladin 5 and Warlock 3, you'll still have Extra Attack and a Charisma scaling weapon but now with more smite slots and poised for the next level
From this point on i recommend breaking your Oath if possible
9th level you place into Paladin for Aura of Protection, which should give all your saves a bonus based on your Charisma which at this point should be 20
Next 2 levels go into Warlock to recover the Pact Weapon extra attack landing you at 3 attacks per turn
Finally, what you do with Level 12 depends on what Oath you picked but since Oathbreaker is the best choice you put that level into Paladin once again to add your Charisma as a damage bonus to all melee attacks with your Aura

I much prefer going 5 levels in Warlock with Pact of the Blade for their Extra Attack with Pact Weapons. It doubles up with the Paladin Extra attack netting you 3 attacks per turn at level 10. Chuck in 2 levels of Fighter, and you get 6 attacks per turn without Haste when you burn Action Surge.

You can dump literally all of your Divine Smites in one turn and absolutely go nova on an enemy. Damage with a high level weapon, not including extra bonuses like having Necrotic Damage or what have you on your weapon ends up totaling out to a max of around 984 damage in one turn.

Also, having 5 levels in Warlock gives you 2 3rd level Spell slots for Divine Smite that recoup on Short Rests, giving you better longevity.

Lvl 5 Warlock with Pact of the Blade and Level 5 Paladin gets 3 Attacks per round with Smite damage that you can reload with a short rest or a bard

Imagine delaying extra attack until level 9..

5 Levels of pact of the blade Warlock + 5 levels of Paladin mean 3 attacks per action because the extra attack of pact of the blade stacks with other classes extra attacks. You can optionally do 3 smites in a turn with lvl 3 warlock slots that regenerate after a short rest. The damage output is crazy.
I'd recommend to put 2 more levels into warlock going from there to gain lvl 4 warlock slots. You'll miss out on auras, but Paladins gain a lvl 3 slot on lvl 7, and then you won't be able to use warlock slots for spells unless you've used your lvl 3 paladin slot.
You can optionally respec once you reach lvl 5 warlock because pact weapons use Charisma instead of Strength. You can actually have a 8 Strength Paladin this way.

My imporvement: Remove levels in fighter, and instead go 5/5 Warlock Paladin (Paladin Start)
Use Pact of the Blade, and go Fiend instead for that Fireball.
After that, go either into Fighter more or Paladin.

“Our guide to a padlock build… first start as fighter” 😂

I actually went 5 levels into warlock and 5 levels into fighter for the extra attack and champion subclass.
I then put the last 2 levels into paladin for the divine smite.

So the thing about paladin is that at level 2 you unlock divine smite with 2 level 1 spell slots.
However if you run warlock you can use those spell slots instead, not only giving you extra charges but also giving you level 3 smite at level 2 paladin.

With items that bring my crit down to 17 with advantage, one strike can do over 70 damage, but with 4 attacks and a bonus attack if i crit or kill an enemy.

So on crit i do 70 damage, i frighten, and i get another attack allowing me 5 attacks in total.
All with +6 to attack rolls because i got 20 points into charisma and went pact of the blade.
+7 if i put on a hat that gives me 2 extra charisma.

I turn 1 killed a slayer...

To improve it, take Resilience (constitution) instead of warcaster. It provides the same con save bonus for concentration, but for all con saves instead of just concentration. The other bonus of warcaster does nothing for you since you don't have shocking grasp.
