Virtual Treadmill Walk - Kiama, NSW Australia
Показать описание
You can use this video the next time you do an indoor treadmill or bike workout using your favourite device.
Kiama /kaɪˈæmə/ is a township 120 kilometres south of Sydney in the Illawarra, New South Wales, Australia in the Municipality of Kiama. At the 2011 census, Kiama had a population of 12,817 people. One of the main tourist attractions is the Kiama Blowhole. The seaside town features several popular surfing beaches, caravan parks and numerous alfresco cafes and restaurants. Its proximity to the south of Sydney makes it an attractive destination for a large number of day trippers
Unfortunately the Blowhole wasn't working very well the day we filmed the walk. You'll get to see a rather feeble attempt, but if you are interested in seeing it work properly, I'm sure it's just a Youtube search away :)
I have been asked by a couple of viewers if it was possible to leave the original sound intact. Usually I find it either overly windy, or that I'm having a conversation with my wife who is following me with our dog Buddy. On this occasion the sound is mainly left intact, with a few minutes muted when we get up around the blowhole, because the wind noise was pretty bad and would have been annoying for you guys to listen to. Obviously you can always turn the volume down and play your favourite music instead :)
I am planning to do more walks/runs etc in the near future. So please let me know if you have any suggestions for the channel, as I'd love to hear from you :)
