In this lesson, we will learn how to work with rational numbers in decimal form. We will look at questions on adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing rational numbers.

Hi, welcome to this question right here. So we got 2.5 x -6.4. So if we do write it out in a regular way we would've written it like this, right? Okay, now that's my multiplication right here, let's actually just bring it over to the side a little bit more. So 2.5 x 6.4 so what's our final answer? Well, before we calculate the final answer, I want you to know that your final answer will have to be a negative, okay? Why? Because the first number is positive the second number is negative, right? If you're doing multiplication or division, okay? If one's positive one's negative, doesn't matter which one is which, the answer is definitely a negative, okay? Then, let's see to what happen to the rest. So 2.5 x 6.4 will work out to be at 16. So your final answer is just -16. Okay? Thanks for watching.
