This reporter freaks me more than Toga...

Despite how wildly quirks can vary, hero society still doesn't know how to handle the more strange and unusual abilities. Instead of finding alternative solutions it forces these outliers to fit into the norm.

For Toga, that wasn't possible. She needed a healthy outlet to express herself and was denied because others thought it was devious or gross. So she inevitably lashed out once she couldn't bottle up her true self any longer, and it was the first time she was truly happy in a long time.

Now she seeks to maintain that joy and happiness because that breakthrough solidified her instincts into undeniable urges. Her relentless bloodlust is fueled by her hatred for restraint, and it's because of those around her that she turned out this way.

Ngl I feel like Bones did justice to Toga’s backstory, leaving the blood stuff uncensored. I hope they do the same to Shigaraki’s backstory

I love how mha portrays such dark past stories of the villian characters. Every description stands up to their present characteristics, it's worth justifying their attitude.

Specifically, the Quirks of other hosts could be weird or unpleasant. Toga's parents thought that her Quirk was something out of the *Normal* because they don't understand that her power comes from drinking blood, both human and animal. And perhaps she did not know that what she was doing was something that many would notice as the behavior of a psychopath, but it is not her fault, children are curious and perhaps she wanted to experience her Quirk in that bird. The scares of the parents were so serious that they forced her to stop using her Quirk since society would not understand that perhaps she could have disorders. Toga knew that she couldn't be without using her Quirk for long ... That's why the last time she saw her classmate's blood was the last straw. She had no choice but to return to her desire for blood after a long time ago. This reason led to her being a ruthless murderer and a runaway villain. She was never bad but they never accepted her for who she was. That is why she went down the wrong path of villainy...

Well, at least that explains how she discovered her quirk. Still wondering about Stain though. Oh well, this episode lifted a question I’ve been wondering….oh and all the people who fallen victim to Toga’s upgrade.

I feel so bad for Toga. If she was in an environment that taught her how to handle her urges well, she would've grown up normal. Instead she grew up in an environment that treated her cruelly for something she was born with.

It breaks my heart knowing that Toga could’ve been good. It’s total bullshit that society still hasn’t figured out how to help people like her. Or rather, society is too much of a pansy to even think of helping. It’s a no wonder some people become villains. I’m especially annoyed that her parents would degrade her like this, considering Vlad has a “bloodborne” quirk and he’s a pro hero as well as a teacher. This goes to show that some of these villains are just people thrown aside by society solely because they were different, a hypocrisy in a world of superpowers

You know a-lot of people were so quick to judge her and call Toga a freak, but none of them ever seemed to stop and wonder why she does these things and try to talk to her about. Specially her parents, they sound like bastards.

Why do the villains have such nice designs they would look like great friends if they didn't have obsessions with being a villain 😭

Although I cannot understand Toga's passion for blood, but I understand her feeling oppressed by others and her desire to simply want to be herself in total freedom.

I feel bad for Toga, like if she doesn't have that quirk her parents would love her and she has this quirk that makrs her parents scared and dissapointing

I wish Toga’s parents would have found a more healthy approach towards her but instead, they treated her like a monster. Honestly, Toga would have been the best underground hero like Eraserhead. She have a lot of potential in her. She’s very skilled with acrobatics and knives. I feel sorry for the her and the league of villains.

if only the world was more excepting of the “creepy” quirks. if toga had been raised in a way that helped her find a healthy outlet to express herself and her infatuation for blood, maybe she could have turned out different. js like eri. if eri grew up with overhaul and he taught her to use her quirk to harm ppl, eri would be a crazy villain. if toga was given the chance as a child, i think she could have ended up very different.
