Eric Saade (* September 29, 1990, Kattarp, Helsingborg, Sweden) is a Swedish pop singer. His father is Lebanese, his mother Swedish. He represented Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2011.
Saade first appeared in the Swedish TV music contest Joker (now Popcorn). In 2007 he became a member of the boy band What's Up!. In early 2009, the group decided to leave and pursue a solo career.
Saade also twice participated in the competition Melodifestivalen - the Swedish national round of the Eurovision Song Contest. For the first time in 2010 with the song "Manboy" when finished in the final third.
