- You can hold the spread-out tripod via the center column to use as a glidecam.
- You can attach a rubber band to the handle to achieve smooth panning.
- You can loosen one leg and ped/tilt at the same time (similar to 1:06)

The thing with the leaf, great use! I will try to remember to test that with my head as well. Using a carpet to make the tripod into a slider and dolly is very smart. Kind of like when you used a sock under each leg in a previous video you made years ago :-)

Tip 5: thats maybe the best DIY JIB I have ever seen on YouTube. I am always looking for something that works. Never thought of using a plank and connect it to the tripod head and then use another hear at the end. Not bad. I will definitly have to try that, I guess you need a strong tripod for that? Mine is not the best and it is quite old. With this trick, you have the up/down movement and you just turn the tripod-head to move the jib side-to-side. I have not seen anyone else use that simple technique in their design.
