I never saw so many players downtown playing the CDay, besides the one with Gible. I managed to do 5 Lucky trades and from those who activated the lures I recognized many of them from my friend list. Although 3 hours were not enough, it was still a great CDay.

I caught my first shundo. When I pressed on the Pokémon it was a shiny and then appraised it then boom, 4* shiny. It felt great to finally catch a shundo. Loved the video, I caught like 18 shinies and I could totally used this idea to end up with less.

We've had not so good shiny number for a few of the previous comdays, but I guess that's just how statistics work. Stufful yesterday on the other hand was loaded with shinies for us, so no complaints there. 21 for me and 23 for my son. And we just used gotcha for two of the three hours, so who know how many weren't caught.

I caught 500 stufful’s and I got 5 shinys, there’s no shot that the shiny rate was 1/25

Nice video and amazing rates of Shiny you got! I've caught a total of 103 Stufful in which ONLY 3 were shiny. I've played for 2.5 hours. You're right the rates don't seem to be 1/25 and the IVs sucked for me they were 1 one stare and 2 Zero stars :( maybe next event will be luckier.
While a friend of mine caught 101 Stufful with 2 shinys 1 zero stars and 1 two stars

If you do this challenge again (which I hope you do!) you should add a rule that you can't make the same guess twice in a row. It would increase the risk for sure but at least that way you won't be tempted to just say 3 star for them all :D

Shiny rate was def lowered. I played for the full 3 hours and got 3 shinies (in the last 10min!) . Granted I only walked for an hour and used an insence the rest of the time. The nerfs to insense and reduced event time have made com day much harder for people who are busy on weekends.

Great video, Daxi! If you stay in the same location for the entire event, like a park walking between 5 stops, does that affect the shiny spawn rate? Would you find more moving to a new location or is it just based on the number that spawn for you?

I got like 6 or 7 shinies throughout the event and I was at the fairgrounds here constantly catching. No 3 star shiny either, which was disappointing.
Had a lot of fun though.
Was amazed at how fast the candies built up. Got around 1, 800 before evolving any.
