Identifying and controlling Wild Violet 2

I am a horticultualist in south east PA. I specialize in plant health care (IPM) and cool season turf management.

This stuff is absolutely impossible to kill with herbicides. I've tried EVERYTHING, the best I can get is some curling and browning of the leaves, it actually seems to come back stronger.

I've even gone as far as using a 10cc syringe and injecting herbicide directly into the stem of this stuff. It still comes back.

Will T Zone kill wild violet? I mixed 1.5 ounces of T Zone per gallon and sprayed the whole lawn. Going to spot spray 2 weeks from first treatment. I also use Scotts 4 step. Put down step 1 already.

I keep violet only in my buck yard I love them, but not a front yard

Good tips on the violet.
Have a new lawn. Southeast USA. Tons of weeds (clover, charlie, violet, and everything else). Put milorganite and lesco starter down. Got rain 2 weeks of rain and hit it all with 2-4D. What else can I do? Will crossbow kill the grass? Is there a good place or person to consult to figure out what the best plan of attack is? I want to knock all the weeds down this year so I can let my grass grow and take over the patches. I got a soil sample too. Great: Ph (6.45), Phosphorous, Ca, S, Fe, Mn. Low: K, mg, na, zn, cu, boron.

It's a bitch. Dicamba tryclopyr help. Use max label rate. 2, 4-D not effective. I've even dabbed thousands of em with glyphosate on a brush. But, they still come back the following year. You can have it appear clean thru summer tho but it is a annual maintainance that does not seem to go away.

no luck with herbicides. had luck with just removing creeping charlie with rake. what happens if i just dig up or pull the or pull the violets?

Why would you want to kill them . . . .learn to like them.
