Taylor Swift Faces BACKLASH Over SNL Performance Announcement & Here's Why

Saturday Night Live caused quite the stir on Twitter earlier this week when they revealed their November line-up. No, people weren’t mad about the Larry David and Miley Cyrus combo OR the Chance the Rapper and Eminem weekend. The Twittersphere actually had a meltdown over Tiffany Haddish and Taylor Swift appearing on the show together.
So far, all we know is that Tiffany will be hosting the show while Taylor will be performing two songs the weekend of November 11th. What should’ve been an exciting weekend for Taylor since her album ‘Reputation’ is also dropping the night before is kinda sorta turning into a nightmare. At least for now because SO many people have expressed their disgust with this combo.
One user tweeted QUOTE, “When you see Tiffany Haddish is hosting SNL and then find out Taylor Siwft is performing” with a gif of Kanye West laughing and then immediately looking upset. While another wrote, “They’re gonna ruin Tiffany Haddish’s episode with Taylor Swift. Gag.”
And then someone else tweeted, “Tiffany Haddish is hosting SNL so of course I’m gonna watch but I have to tolerate Taylor Swift being the musical guest.” Um, I don’t know about you guys, but there are buttons on your remote to help you switch channels if you’re that pressed about Taylor performing on the show.
But of course, not everyone is being a hater. Taylor fans are actually ecstatic about their kween performing on the show. One fan wrote in all caps “TAYLOR SWIFT IS PERFORMING ON SNL FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 8 YEARS.” With a very excited Taylor pic as their reaction. While another one tweeted, “Taylor Swift on SNL, November 11th? Suddenly I like SNL.” See? Not everyone is mad about it!
