How to get High Stat Armor Solo in Season of the Lost

High stat armor is important for character builds in Destiny 2. That's why I decided to make this video, showcasing all sources of high stat armor for solo players. In this video I go over the best stats for armor and how to get high stat armor as a solo player. I also show a trick that you can use to choose which stats your armor has. Using these methods, I've been able to farm high stat armor that enables triple 100 stats on two of my characters. What's the highest stat gear you have?

*NOTE* You can only focus umbrals for the top 3 stats (mobility, resilience, recovery) with a ghost mod that is for the bottom 3 stats (discipline, intellect, strength) or the other way around. If you try to focus mobility with a recovery ghost mod one of the stats will not be affected.

Your class item should be your first masterworked armor IMO cause you know you'll never find a better one. Also because they're the same, get one in every element so you can equip different mods without affecting your stats

You missed one key point re focussing an engram and pairing that with the ghost mod in an attempt to get two large stacks. The caveat to this working is the armour stat groups. The ghost must not have the same stat group as the recaster in the HELM.

Group 1: Mobility/Resilience/Recovery
Group 2: Discipline/Intellect/Strength

So for example, you can set your ghost to have at least 10 intellect points on armour found. Then go to the HELM and focus on recovery. But it won’t work if you’re looking for mobility and recovery.

Another tip for Solos is to keep an eye on vendor armor rolls. I’ve grab some nutty armor spreads from the vendors and had to absolutely nothing. And it’s great for new solos because you can use these armors as place holders until you do the higher tier content and get even better stat spreads.

I have a Heart of Inmost Light that dropped at 71. After mod and Masterwork it's 93. It's also has Arc, so it can be a 113 with radiant life/powerful friends

I tend towards recovery and discipline for the most part. Too many of the supers are held once earned (and the complaining of team mates in higher end content if you decide to wipe a room out gets irritating fast). While grenades are always ranged damage and can hit behind cover.

just looked up the max stats thing. some exotics from before shadow keep have like 1 or 2 base stats on top of the "plug" stat amounts. The max stats using plug amounts is 68, then you add the base guaranteed stats from the exotic.
