What is a Natural Loofah?

In the Philippines, we add this to soups before the fibers become tough. It's really fragrant, especially in noodles and law-oy.

Here in Brazil that's the most common loofah ever!! It's actually pretty good for exfoliating the skin and also for normal quick baths! :)

Fun fact: loofahs are very delicious in soups and other foods if you harvest them early when they aren’t ripe and dried. I have made loofah and meat soup several times and it is perfection.

as an Indian its common here to see these trees near ponds and rivers. We used to throw stones at dried fruit(veggie) and use them while having a nice evening bath at the river after finishing the cricket game. 😢 missing that days
