Very pleased as a local to see a vlog about Pireas which is skipped by the majority of tourists that go only to Athens to explore. It's known from antiquity that Athens power was due to its warships (trieres) that Athens had funded Pireaus masters to build. Now Pireas has 3 ports. The main where all cruises arrive and transport their guests to Athens. The second port is where you stroll and it's named as Zeas port (it took its name by the variety of wheat cultivated on this part of land) or during Ottoman times was named as Pasalimani ( port of Pasa where the ottoman lord bathed with its harem). This port hosts now yachts mainly but also some big fishing boats and finally the third is Microlimano (small port) exclusively fishing boats and very few local yachts for nearby excursions.. By night all the outer part of Zeas (strolling to the opposite direction as you are going in the Video) are dozens of seafood restaurants and some bars with the view of all of Athens Riviera. Which is phenomenal. Also onto the hill you walk towards to the hill of Castella are some taverns with view all the way towards the Athenian Riviera up to Athens making it the ideal romantic evening spot.
