58mm looks the best for me, I’d say when it comes to buying sunglasses, the normal size not too small and not too big is always the best option

55mm for a modern look more fashionable look. 58mm for a more functional and utilitarian look however, if you had to choose one than you can't go wrong with 58mm because they still look uber cool!

62 are basically the kind-of-a-cool hippy, possibly Vietnam vet, late sixties and early seventies look, and the 58 are more like the classic original aviators from the 1940s and 1950s. The small ones seem to be a modernised variant of the aviators to make them suit modern clothing more, but I personally don’t like them. I like the medium size and honestly the large size looks pretty cool too.

The 58mm are the classic size, but, everytime I wear the large aviator metal 3036, I feel like the Cobra character played by Stallone.

I like 55mm aviators, if you have the face for it (obviously if they look too small it doesn't work)

I think a pair of aviators on the slightly smaller side is the best look, and where they look most natural and refined, as well as modern depending on your outfit (the 62mm has a more old fashioned 70's 80's look).


I think going down the the smallest size you can wear without it looking 'too small' is a good rule of thumb, 55 if you can, otherwise 58.

60 or higher in certain style cases where you want them to be oversized, or just if you have a large head obviously.


I personally find aviators that are over sized just look stupid allot of the time, even though it typically what you tend to see quite allot, I think allot of people just throw on a pair of aviators without thinking about the size and the lenses just dominate their face because they are 60mm lenses.


especially so with cheaper aviators which seem to come 60mm or even 63mm as standard.
It takes some specific looking to find some with 55mm lenses especially on the cheaper end.

those 62 look best, slightly oversized lenses, with that beautiful gradient blue, 001/3f gold frame. you just can't beat those.

55no doubt looking awesome, 58 might be more comfortable to wear though?
The green classic glass would be fun to wear, black for eye protection and style, gradient for practicality (style too!)

58 look perfect on you! Small ones aren't bad either and the large ones cover too much of your eyebrows so I think they are too big for your face. So 58 most definitely 😊

In my opinion the 58's look good on you the 55 also do however you can see the sides are sticking to your temples that's the only ting that makes them seem small for you, in my early 20's i loved the 55's and never realized they were sticking to my temples so i think i need 58's now i guess i'll go to a dealer and try them both before i decide. Thanks for the great, short and precise info, great video i watched another channel's video on the same subject it was 12 minutes long i stopped at 7'ish and came to see yours

As far as what looks best on you in your face-The 58 suits you the best. But the 55 also looks good. (For that different style when you want that little bit of a smaller lens. )👍🏻

I have a very large head. 62mm is only option for me! It was hard for me to find a pair until I found the 62mm ray bans.
