San Bernardino secession measure to be on November ballot

The county’s Board of Supervisors voted 4-0 on Wednesday to put the secession measure on the 2022 ballot.

It won't matter because even if it was to pass then it would have to go all the way to the U.S. Congress so this ballot measure doesn't have a chance because for years people have been trying to divide the State of California up and this is just another example of political nonsense.

Why would it need to go to the US congress if SB joined another state? It would be a deal between the states. Becoming a new state is a non starter. Look at Puerto Rico.

Yeah it’ll go through unfortunately the congress wouldn’t allow it lol only way is to have neighbors state to vote them in however it’ll turn into a big legal lawsuit
