One of the world's biggest mysteries is how someone like Marjorie Taylor Green has a seat in Congress.

Covering the attempt to oust Mike Johnson as Speaker without once mentioning the fact that he was saved by Democrats is a truly collosal and somewhat mind-boggling oversight. While yes the vast majority of Republicans also voted to save him, enough didn't that he would have lost the Speakership had the majority of Democrats not also voted to save him. That's a significant change in posture since last October when every House Democrat voted to oust Kevin McCarthy, so only covering the Republicans' defiance of Trump, and not Democrats voting to save the Speaker of another party is quite incomplete coverage.

Just a small correction at 0:29 both the presidential and parliamentary election (2nd round) were held yesterday (08.05.2024) while the presidential victory was sort of already decided 2 weeks ago with the VMRO-DPMNE candidate leading in the polls it was not certain if she would win in the 2nd round because the Albanian party told their voters to boycott the vote and only vote for the parliamentary election and not in the presidential one (its a bit confusing because both the election happened at the same time but you had a choice if u wanted to vote for one or both of the elections) and if there was not a turn out rate of 40% for the presidential election there would have been new presidential elections

It's to be hoped that Boeing whistleblower is in a very secure location and has some very close friends in Seal Team 6.

As much as I heavily dislike Mike Johnson for delaying the aid we should’ve been sending to Ukraine, he’s at least not blocking it anymore.
Majorie Taylor Greene, on the other hand, would be an even bigger useful idiot for the Kremlin than Johnson was!

Pretty big correction- Donald Trump did not support Green’s ouster motion- he supported Johnson to remain as speaker

The government investigating Boeing is like the police investigating themselves.

Greek photos have no relation. Tsipras signed it, and mitsotakis was opposed the prespa agreement (only when in opposition)

You need to note that Democrats saved Johnson's skin here. There were enough Republican votes to remove him, had Democrats not decided to vote for him.

Back when McCarthy was ousted, Democrats did not do this, which is why he lost his job.

It's an important ally for global security and in the region as well. NATO countries rely on nations from the Eastern front. There is also a reason that the Western alliance works in close relations with Baltic states. They are working together for more defense in those areas.

As a macedonian, we will never be able to join the EU. There are new conditions every time. First we had to change the flag, then the name, then denounce our claims on our history, then give rights to the terrorists that invaded in 2001 and now apparently the final condition is to change our history to the bulgarian.

I think you should have been MORE impressed that the Democrats voted to keep a Republican speaker IN HIS SEAT than that the same old suspects wanted him out. But still, yes surprising.
