Valorant Fix: This Build Of Vanguard Requires TPM Version 2.0 and Secure Boot to be Enabled

Learn to fix this build of Vanguard requires TPM Version 2.0 and Secure Boot to be enabled in order to play error code VAN 9001 on Valorant by Riot Games. Looks like Riot games are enforcing TPM 2.0 & Secure boot for Valorant on Windows 11. You won't be able to play the game without enabling tpm switch and secure boot in UEFI mode.

Here's how to fix Valorant "This build of Vanguard Requires TPM 2.0 & Secure Boot".

1. Restart your computer.
2. While restarting press the BIOS key on the keyboard.
3. Once you enter into the BIOS, go to Advanced options.
4. Find the Security options and "Trusted Computing"
5. Enable "Security Device Support" and select the TPM switch.
6. Go back to the Advanced options and find " Windows OS Configuration"
7. Select the BIOS mode to UEFI
8. Enable secure boot

Save all the changes and restart.

TPM 2.0 and Secure boot are now enabled, you can play Valorant without any error.
This will also fix "There was an error connecting to the Platform. Please restart your game client"

if a game asks for bios settings, then the problem is with game how they developed. third party apps should never interfere with bios

How scummy of Riot Games having you go to Bios to change things just to get their background client to work. Valorant is a fun game, but seriously, how crappy of a company to do this to their consumers. I really hope a class action lawsuit opens up against Riot Games for having consumers having to change security measures in their computer just to run their virus-like client.

What if you already have both of these settings turned on and it still doesn't work? I had these settings enabled already (for other reasons) and my game still doesn't launch. I've been back to the bios 5 times to make ABSOLUTELY SURE they're turned on and they are, still get the same error. I've even tried completely bypassing the TPM check through regedit and it doesn't work. Really confused
