If GOP won't unite, Rep. Mike Turner says a deal 'will have to be done' with Democrats for speaker

As House Republicans enter another week without a speaker, GOP Rep. Mike Turner, the chair of the House Intelligence Committee, tells "Face the Nation" if enough Republicans won't unite behind Rep. Jim Jordan or another GOP member, "obviously there will be a deal" that will "have to be done" with Democrats.

How does the interviewer not instantly tell Rep. Turner about the former wrestlers who went before the Ohio House and swore under oath that Him Jordan absolutely knew about the assault and that he had called him over and over just days before he was to testify to beg and cry for him not to say anything about him, to think about his career. How do they never have the balls to call out these blatant lies that Republicans push? They say whatever lies they want because they're so used to getting zero push back from the media sources that are responsible for a terrible person like Trump becoming President.

I hate that reporters keep letting these Republicans blame Democrats for the mess in the house without pushback. Giving someone a platform to push plain propaganda is NOT reporting. Either these reporters don’t know anything about the subjects they are covering or they are just a person who simply holds a microphone.
