Why did they change the ending? The original, i think, has the camera flying through the piano and it seem'd like an extended scene... otherwise this is a lovely scene

Haven' watched this film for many years. I'm just back to this scene because I have learnt this masterpiece by Mozart (Sonata No.11 in A major) and I wanted to get back to the roots, that is to say this movie, which introduced me first to this piece when I was a kid.
I'm 26yo now and I'm crying above my piano watching this video. I've lost my dad exactly two years ago and I remember I have touched a piano for the first time at his home, trying to learn this piece by ear.

Rest in peace daddy, I love you forever and ever.
