It is pretty difficult to conduct a marriage if your partner has been in prison for 30 years.

This woman either has ANOTHER husband, or she just doesn't have the coping skills to deal with helping Lyle Menendez to adjust outside of prison walls. The elderly aunts are too old now, so I hope that there are cousins who will step up and help, because the adjustment will be hard. The best thing they can both do is live somewhere remote and quiet and have a very simple life.

Some women enjoy being married to prisoners. He may be getting out. He would no longer fit her preferences. Besides, she would have to fully financially support him, including legal expenses.

Why does she have to announce this now just before his resentencing hearing and possibly sabotage the outcome? Couldn’t she wait until the hearing was over and verdict reached?

I personally don’t understand how you could marry and fully commit to someone that is in prison for life. That’s another level of complicated. We don’t know what they’ve talked about but it seems odd that she decided to do this right in the middle of his possible release.

They were separated! He was in prison. There is no way a free person could have a true marriage when you aren’t together.

John melvou, dc sniper, brought his nephew in on tbe murders. Nephew was 16. Nephew was rightfully held accountable for his participation. Menendez were both of the age of majority, 18 or older. Offer, acceptance. One offered an idea and the other adult agreed. Both are equally culpable.

What a blow to Lyle & embarrassing to him, given that he just posted proudly about their marriage. She could’ve waited until his release. Why publicly, and why now?! Also very odd to even mention “not a cheating scandal.” 🚩
