What happened to Paul Sellers is that he has shown countless new woodworkers that skilled use of hand tools are often the best tools to use. Many years ago I learned hand tool woodworking from my father who learned from his grandfather who was a successful carpenter/cabinet maker in an era that didn't have electricity to power their tools. Paul may occasionally mention a tool that is a good value but does not rely on promoting any one company for his personal profit but rather how to become a quality woodworker with many skills that needs only hand tools and not a table saw and dust collection and a power router etc. etc. This posting gives an excellent overview of Paul's posts and will hopefully add to Paul's viewers because he is a bit of a treasure, with a few others, that preserve the craft and skills and personal satisfaction of producing something done by and for a human hand that will last for generations and shows what humans can do.
