I tried Wow for the first time today with SOD and so far its been more fun that I expected itd be

I’m playing on lava lash, only had good encounters, this is my first time playing classic. Today was awesome, random raid for some tower in auberdine (?), meeting ppl and helping on quests. For the first time I’m not thinking about rushing to endgame to raid in an mmo.

Having mained Night Elf (and not ashamed 😊), I always took my other characters through Darkshore and Ashenvale too, kind of feels like home. Hope you enjoyed! Ed: Also Blackfathom Deeps really love it, can't wait to go there again.

Yesterday we did a RFC run with a Shaman tank and a Mage healer....it was actually fun, sometimes scary but fun :P

SoD is fantastic I was playing vanilla since July and going in with these new rotations and stuff feels so good and it's not too much it feels just right

The questing zones that always hit me in the feels no matter how many times I level through them will forever be Elwyn forest, westfall, hillsbrad foothills, Un’goro crater and dark shire. Those have to be my favorite zones in the game. Blizzard perfected giving new and existing players that good nostalgic feeling that always puts a smile on your face when you’re there. My least favorite zones would probably be the blasted lands and the barrens any of the bland dry looking zones pretty much. It’s one of the main reasons I enjoy playing alliance. We have much better ones.

It's really cringe seeing Asmon begging for silver. If it were any other person begging randos for spare change everyone would be like "get a job broke boy" or "piss off noob".

SOD is the most fun and fresh spin on classic i've had since 2019, which the launch of classic was the most fun i've had since cata TBH. I am so stoked to see what every patch brings, and end-game. Figuring out what i wanna main has been tough as they basically gave every class what they needed minus druid getting WF. Great so far

It’s crazy how all these years and not a single game has yet to come out and dethrone WOW. Not even Wow could dethrone WOW which is why they went back to Classic.

By definition, an addiction is engaging in behavior or activities that you know are harmful to yourself but you continue to do it anyway because you are psychologically or physically dependent on it. An addiction is NOT doing something that is harmful to yourself while not knowing it is harmful to yourself - that's just being oblivious or having a lack of insight or comprehension. A lot of people don't understand this distinction which is a major reason why most addicts can't stop being addicts - they're not given support. It's like saying that someone with cancer chooses to have cancer and so doesn't deserve support or help.

TLDR: Addiction is not a choice.

I'm playing on Lava Lash and have had the best experience ever in WoW in this SoD. When I spawned I kidnapped a Paladin and made them quest with me. Then we found a tainted warlock and brought them along. We fell in love. Everyone has been so kind and funny. I've never played on a RP server but I'm embracing it.

My cool and calm Paladin, who seems very holy.

My beautiful and twisted Warlock who cheers over corpses.

Me, the manic mage who does and says whatever he wants and drags their party into the most random situation.

It's been a good day. +1 to SoD.
