I've been trying to learn slap for a couple of months, and I'm struggling to get a good tone. I hear harmonics, and the sound from the slap is not resonant and rounded. Do you have any tips for tone development? I started working on the exercises in your book yesterday but it's very disheartening when it sounds so awful! Thanks for these videos Dan - really appreciated.
