1: The Q3 is NOT truly a 28mm. It’s a 25-point-something that is then cropped. You can see the full image in Capture One when shooting DNG.
2: I love the X100Vl but it has serious issues with single AF on certain distances, which Fuji as of recent has admitted. They say they will fix the issues in an upcoming firmware update. Let’s see.

For one thing, one can be purchased today and the other one won't be available for months.

The Bentley is the X100vi no doubt. The Q3 is an Audi at best.

Q3 more like 24mm. Compare the 24mm and you will know. Slightly wider than they say it is. However, regardless you drive a bently or not, and as much as I disagree with that comparison, I agree they are different segments aimed for different clients. I’ve been a Sony guy for some time now, but for an everyday carry I plan on getting a Q3 myself.

There’s something hard to explain that makes taking photo fun about Leica even though they’re often laughed at. Tried a friend’s Q3, absolutely lovely gear. Overpriced? Yes but it all comes down to what you can afford and what you’re willing to pay to get what you want. Tbh lots of gears out there are overpriced, so it’s what it is.

Would love Q3 with monochrome though. Wanna get a monochrome from Leica but m11m is way out of my budget, and Q2 is just not what I want.

The only thing that really compares to the leica q at that focal length of 28 is the Ricoh honestly.
