It may be cliche, but I love the trope of a "good" character acting rude, selfish, or downright evil! It's just so cool to see a character who's always portrayed as perfect suddenly do a full 180. It's especially fun when, like in Apple's case, the character uses their already established connections, skills, personality to get what they want.
